Use Carbone in Okou
Use Carbone or carbone.io when the user wants to upload or manage document templates, generate reports from JSON data, convert documents, list template metadata, or download rendered files through the Carbone Cloud API.
Once connected, supported Carbone actions can become steps in a reusable workflow alongside the other services your team uses. Run the workflow once, on a schedule, or when an event starts it.
What you can do with Carbone
- List templates, categories, and tags, or download a stored template or sample.
- Generate or convert a document from a stored template. Requests consume Carbone credits and can trigger configured webhook or egress effects.
- Read Carbone API status and version metadata.
- Upload templates or update template metadata, deployment state, and expiration.
- Convert an inline base64 document. Requests consume Carbone credits.
- Download a rendered document once. A successful retrieval deletes the provider copy and consumes the render ID.
